"Discombobulatorbubalator" - the first hip hop song banned for its controversial language and subject matter. The song suggested that some Chinese takeout restaurants were cooking with cats and dogs, based on a 60 Minutes TV show episode. Written, produced, and performed by MC Breeze and Handmaster Flash in 1985, the song was released in 1986 and immediately banned. However, the ban only made it more popular and marked the start of MC Breeze's recording career. He went on to write and perform three songs on the Rocky V Movie soundtrack, which led to performances on BET, MTV, Soul Train, and more. This t-shirt commemorates the iconic song, "Discombobulatorbubalator."
